All About Mrs. King
I have always been a Mechanicsburg Wildcat! I went to Broad Street Elementary when I was in third grade and I graduated from Mechanicsburg Area School District. I graduated from Geneva College (near Pittsburgh, PA) with a dual degree in PreK-6 Elementary Education and PreK-8 Special Education with a minor in Reading Methods. Right now, I am working on my Master's in Multicultural Education from Eastern University.
This is my fifth full year teaching in Mechanicsburg and my second year teaching third grade. (I previously taught second grade here at Upper Allen and learning support at Elmwood.) Third grade is the BEST!
My husband, Mr. King, and I love to walk, cook, bake, try new restaurants and recipes, play pickleball, and spend time with family and friends. Mr. King is also a teacher; he teaches sixth grade math and science in a nearby school district. In January, we got a puppy named Bingo! He is a silly puppy who brings us lots of joy.
