All About Mrs. King
I have always been a Mechanicsburg Wildcat! I went to Broad Street Elementary when I was in third grade and I graduated from Mechanicsburg Area School District. I graduated from Geneva College (near Pittsburgh, PA) with a dual degree in PreK-6 Elementary Education and PreK-8 Special Education with a minor in Reading Methods. In May, I graduated with my Master's in Multicultural Education from Eastern University. This fall, I am finishing my ESL Certification also through Eastern University. I love to learn!
This is my sixth full year teaching in Mechanicsburg. (I previously taught second grade here at Upper Allen and learning support at Elmwood.) Third grade is the BEST!
My husband, Mr. King, and I love to walk, cook, bake sourdough, try new restaurants and recipes, play games, and spend time with family and friends. Mr. King is also a teacher; he teaches technology education in a nearby school district. We have a dog named Bingo who is awesome, silly, and very loving.
